The Korg SQ-10 makes no sound. It sends the MS-10 three control voltages per step, with continuous knobs and an internal clock that is not synced to anything (in Stepped mode it can take an external clock at the STEP jack). Below, all twelve protocols from the book in four groups (pitch, time, timbre and hybrid stem work), each with an exaggerated A/B you can hear.
This is a 1978 analogue sequencer: knobs drift, units differ and manuals leave some details open. Where you see a Confirm on bench flag, your own unit takes over. Try the patch, listen, and check with a tuner or scope. Your results belong in the session log.
Audio, waveforms, and spectrograms are generated live in your browser. Rather than relying on heavy, static audio files of hardware captures, this streamlined approach uses Web Audio to ensure instant playback, crisp interactive visualizations, and a lightweight page design while clearly illustrating the mechanics of each protocol. In P-10 and P-11, synth tones stand in for the DAW stem.
